The seminar this year was about judging rarity, importance and condition. Damian Läge gave an introduction on this and also on the role of key items in an exhibit.
Judges may only have three or four minutes to judge rarity and condition. They have to find the key items of an exhibit and their general and/or specific importance.
First you have to identify key items and evaluate them. Afterwards you should make sure general estimate for all other items according to rarity, importance and condition.
